The Certification Process
We begin by performing an energy audit (calculation of annual electricity consumption from utility bills provided by the company) and calculating your home's or business' total electricity use. Then we present you with a plan to lower you carbon emissions through a combination of reducing consumption and investment in renewable energy sources. Your total electricity use will determine how many Renewable Energy Credits you need to purchase to offset your carbon emissions. Once you implement and finance a plan, you are certified and invited to display our logo on products, ads and other promotional materials to show your clients and the world that you are environmentally responsible.
